And as a DJ has worked with many of the most famous club DJs, including DJ AM, and DJ Mark Moreno.

DJ LEE's career started 15 years ago in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Influenced and inspired by the diverse and funky grooves of what later became known as the “Minneapolis Sound” (Prince, Shelia E, The Time, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis), DJ LEE began looking for a way to express his own creativity and passion for music and found his way to a pair of turntables. Flash forward several years, DJ LEE was hired as the Director of Entertainment for America Live-a 60,000 square foot multi entertainment complex featuring 5 different club concepts under one roof-where he spent the next several years traveling the Midwest opening properties and managing the music formats for all five concepts.

After the Midwest tour, DJ LEE was recruited as the resident DJ for a chain of high profile clubs in Miami. After several years of spinning in some of South Florida's hottest nightspots and hosting a weekly live radio mix show, he was ready for the challenge of breaking into an even larger market.

DJ LEE Dyson hit the Los Angeles club scene in 2001 and has been playing some of the hottest venues in town ever since. He holds weekly residences at many of Hollywood's top clubs, is the official DJ for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and has also been featured in several Las Vegas DJ Showcases. Additionally, he is frequently booked to spin private events and wrap parties for some of Hollywood's most elite clientele. His ability to read a crowd and program his sets accordingly is second to none and has quickly made him one of Southern California's most in-demand Jocks. His chameleon-like ability to blend every style of music makes him highly adaptable to the largest club or most intimate lounge. House, Funk, Soul, Latin, 80's, Disco, Hip Hop, Old School and Rock can all be found in his mix.

The key to DJ Lee's success is his natural and intuitive talent, true passion, and respect for his craft. If mixing is an art form, then reading the room is truly a science. Creating the proper vibe, balancing the artistry of spinning with managing room energy, rotating the dance floor to drive bar revenue while carefully controlling the men/women ratio and diversity of crowd are all elements that DJ Lee has learned to master in order to make the highest level of impact in any room he plays.
